Tracey Ullom is an Associate Counsel with the Advanced Markets Group for the U.S. Individual Life Insurance operations of John Hancock Financial. In her current position, Tracey provides case consultation, technical expertise and marketing support to John Hancock’s home office employees, field personnel, and producers.
Prior to joining John Hancock, Tracey was an Attorney in the Advanced Markets at National Life Group. In this role, Tracey’s focus was on retirement and business succession planning, with a strong knowledge on ERISA qualified plans. She also held a lead role in developing and maintaining marketing strategy as well as training and recruiting programs. Tracey is a frequent speaker at industry events and webinars focusing on estate and tax planning topics.
Tracey received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Legal Studies from Minnesota State University, and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Vermont Law School. Tracey also received her Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. Tracey is licensed to practice law in the state of Vermont and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation.
